Gibson Truck World tells consumers to BEWARE of the wolf in sheep's clothing, but what they actually mean is beware of them.
I bought 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 from Gibson Truck World that they claimed to have very little rust. What they did was they covered it all up by painting over it.
Now it is August, just 5 months later, I have rust making the paint bubble above my rear tires on both sides of the truck. I have spots of rust that has eaten all the way through the paint on the lower back corners of the cab, I spent $1,200.00 on repairs caused by rust.
I can quote the salesman of saying the condition of the rust on the truck, because as soon as he said the truck was from Canada, I asked how much rust did the truck have. After talking with some of the people from the dealership I discovered one of two things happened: first is that the salesman straight up lied to me or two is that it is the business policy of Gibson Truck World that they cover up things like this before the trucks reach it to the sales staff. That way the salesman can say that he didnt know.
I dont care which it was, what I care about is getting the situation resolved and if I cant I want to put it out to as many people as I can that Gibson Truck World is as crooked as they come.
