I Would Not Buy A Vehcile From Any Champman Chevrolet Or Other Dealership They Sell Defective Vehicles

I purchased a 2008 Avalanche from Chapman Coverlet with approximately 1800 miles. They give you a big speech about how they do this big inspection on the vehicle. Just before I left the salesman was showing me how things worked the oil life said it only had 25 % left. The salesmen quickly re-set it to 100%, and said they must have forgotten to do so he was sure it went through an oil change and full service. I drove it out of the lot toward home. On the way the tire censors went out, I stooped for gas it was empty. The gas tank cover not the cap was broken when I went to fill the tank.

Then a friend got in the back seat and rolled his window down. It sounded like a baby was being tortured, no exaggeration it was that loud and obnoxious. Also the trim in the back seat kept falling off, even on the seat belts. I was told this was a factory problem they could not have known about. When I accelerated it would die. So much for their inspection, they could not hear the window, no one put gas in it, the censors just went out, they forgot to re-set the oil change indicator. They had to reload some fix software to keep it from dying, they were not aware of this problem on that year truck and did not do the reload when they put it through their inspection, the trim did not fall off when thgey cleaned it.

I took it in to have it repaired. I was told the censors were so sensitive they sometimes do that and the track on the window was dry that is why it made so much noise, they had no explanation for the gas door. I was asked if the car was wrecked. I said I hope not, I just got it. I did not think anything more about it. Another friend got in the back seat shut the door and the door panel was coming off and the handle was stuck on the door that they fixed the window on. It was put back together poorly.

Then while driving down the road not one but two tires blew. I got in in to a tide shop and was advised all four tire where junk I only had the truck a shout time and hand only put about 1000 mile on the vehicle, 750 dollars later I was told they were the original tires and they had 18000 miles on them to bad for you. Wow 1000 mile tires I guess no one looked at them.

The icing on the cake. I was driving down the road, and the front bumper came loose and began to grind on the front tire. They came and got it. I was told I must have hit something and it would not be covered I would have to pay because they would have caught any problem like this in the original inspection.

I can assure you I hit nothing I was driving down the road as before, had a witness in the car. If they missed the window, and the gas tank, and the software, and the censors, and the oil re-set, and the trim blah, blah, blah, did not put it back together right wow now I wrecked it or hit something. They could not have missed it in their very through inspection.

I am certainly not pleased, I should not have to keep dumping money and time into a vehicle that they did this wonderful inspection on and certified it as a quality vehicle.

I will defiantly be going elsewhere and will direct everyone I know to do so. It has cost me nothing but time, money and aggravation. What a joke. There inspection must be pull it on the lot looks good to me. If it breaks it is the customers problem.

I was told that the vehicle was private owner. May have been but I am finding signs it was a service truck. I plan to track it back and find out from the previous owner, I am going to ask him if they knew it when they took it in.

Probably one more thing they forgot about in their tremendous inspection process that they so proudly brag about.
