Shults Ford doesn't care about you after the sale. - Lincoln MKX

I recently took my Lincoln MKX into Shults Ford in Wexford, PA for an inspection.in addition, I had them check one of the tires that had low pressure. They called me around 10:30 am and told me the inspection was done and everything was good. They found a finishing nail in the tire, removed it, fixed the tire by sealing it from the inside, inflated it, balanced it, and put back on the vehicle. I thanked him and said I would be in around 2 to pick it up. Upon arriving at 2:30, I paid and a lot attendant went to retrieve my vehicle. As he pulled it around, the person who gave me a ride saw that the tire they 'fixed' was completely flat. She remarked to the attendant that it was flat and he said its hard to tell in the snow. When I came outside, she told me about the tire and I retrieved the service employee I was working with. When he came outside his remark was, "yeah, it's a little low." The tire was flat and the lot attendant was basically driving on the rim. They took the car back in to 'fix' the tire again. Surprise, surprise the result: the tire cannot be fixed, a new one will cost approximately $190. Luckily I have extra road hazard insurance and didn't have to pay a dime. However, I have never heard of a nail hole you cannot fix. I firmly believe the tire was ruined when the lot attendant drove my vehicle to the front to be picked up. Not only did they NOT take responsibility, they tried to force me to buy a new tire. I left very dissatisfied and will not return tho Shults Ford. Also, if a service consultant thinks a completely flat tire is 'a little low' then I do not trust their workmanship or knowledge of their own products. This is the 4th vehicle my family has purchased here and it will be the last. This experience alone has turned me off of Ford and Lincoln. Do not go here if you want quick, friendly, quality service. You wait over an hour for a simple oil change that you make an appointment for.
