Sm scraches on a vehicle considered excess wear in the amount of $784.08

My lease maturity date w / Wells Fargo was 1/7/09. On 12/1/08, I bought a Nissan Rogue from the same dealership that I bought my Murano. When I bought the Rogue, I was told that I had to contact Wells Fargo to have the car picked up as the dealer could not take it. I thought that was really odd, especially when I bought the car from the same dealership & the 05 Murano only has 28K mi. & in pristine condition. On 12/2/08 I contacted Wells Fargo to let them know that I purchased a new car & needed to make arrangements to have the Murano picked up. I was told the car would be picked up in 3-4 days. I also asked if I needed to be there when the car was picked up for inspection purposes & was told "no". I received a bill from Wells Fargo dated 12/30/08 that my lease matured & Im responsible for the following items: 1) Turn in fee of $430.16 & 2) Excess Wear & Use (Damages) of $784.08= $1212.24 total. There was no itemized explanation as to what EXCESS Wear & Use (Damages) that they were referring to included. On 1/9/09, I called Wells Fargo to get a detailed explanation of what was considered EXCESS Wear on the Murano. I articulated that there was absolutely no Excess Wear on the Murano. The mgr at the dealership looked at the vehicle & said it was in great condition too. I was told there were 3" scratches on both the front & back bumper & based on their wear & use guidelines that exceeds what is called Normal wear & instead is considered EXCESS. I advised I wasnt aware of any scratches on the bumpers. I was asked if I took pics, which I did not; I was buying a new car. I also asked if they took pics & they said the auditor's do but they don’t see them nor do they share them. Im being asked to pay a bill for damages that I'm claiming that are not there, but I cant see what they are referring too? What are they trying to hide? Excess Wear to me isn’t sm. Scratches; thats normal wear. Here Im thinking that Im rewarded for having good credit w / a lower interest rate, but in the end Im getting nickel & dimed for scratches which are defined by Wells Fargo as EXCESS Wear totaling $784.08!
