Have mis handle or missapplied my payments resulting in an ugly call from a smarta

I received an ugly call from SST from a female who was aggressive and controlling claiming that I was 5 days late. I explained to her that per my banks billpay system the payment was mailed on 8-28-08 received on 09/01/08 and cashed on 09/02/08 She says that it was not received and preceded to tell me How my bill pay worked " they dont take out the money untill the day they send the check! You should be paying threw our websight!" not only wrong inerpretation but she was yelling at me. I hung up on the b*h. I looked at there websight and found a way to email a superviser and sent her a strict but firm email telling her of the harrassing phone call and how they missapplied my payment I also said that I would seek a legal remedy because this is not the first time this has happened. Of course she asked for proof and in a subsequent email I download and copied both sides of the cancelled check complete with there computer printed endorse ment after % minuts after I sent that proof I received a telephone apology along with the explanation that the payment was applied to a different acct I recorded this phone call for my own records
