Rude and Nasty Rep

First and formost I would like to say that I am disgusted by the way these people do business. They are unprofessional and demanding and should nt be in business.

I was called several times before 9 am during the week (which is not legal in the states of NY and NJ, although this is for a valid debt they went about trying to get the amount due completely wrong in my opinion. I moved from NY as of the end of June and although i did put in a request to have my mail forwarded to me in NJ it didnt go into affect until after sept so I was nt getting any of my mail including bill from Grandmas Kitchen which is the company I owed the money to. They transfered my acct to Allied and they claim they sent me bills which i of course didnt receive. I explained what happened to the gentleman in ref to the move, gave him my new address and advised him I would send them a payment as soon as they send me a letter from them in ref to this debt. The rep demanded i make the payment to him over the phone, first of all he had woken me up at 8:30am on a Sat morning and i advised him that i dont give my info to anyone over the phone but will send the payment as soon as the bill was received. Well this rep got a little upset and told me that my credit will be ruined if the payment were not made to him. I again explained that i had never received a bill from his compnay, dont know who he is and will not get up from my bed to give him a payment right then and there, he told he that he will not send me a bill and hung up on me. Well, imagine my surprise when a few days later i recvd a bill from them.

I was on my way to write the check when I got a call from an automated system telling me to call back but they didnt say the name of the company, when i called back it was Allied, I then spoke to a rep by the name of Nicholas (the name was given to me by another rep after he had hung up on me 2 times) who answered the phone by just saying hello and then identified himself after i told him i was calling back because of an automated message he asked for my tel number and found my acct and advised me about my debt. I told him that i had just received the bill and will be mailing out a payment. He told me to give him my checking account info over the phone to make things easier but i advised that i dont give my info over the phone and will mail it out. He asked me why I didnt just give him the payment and i explained othim just likt i did to the other rep i spk to before him on that sat that i dont like giving my info over the phone not because of him but because i was speaking opn a cordless phone and wa worried that someone might get my info. He then got rude and told me that I called him, I reminded him that i was returning a call from an automated system and didnt even know where i was calling until he had told me and that because i had the bill i will send it in.

He kept on insisting and said that my credit was going to be ruined and that he didnt understand why i coulldnt just give him my checking info being that i was going to be mailing HIM out the check anyway.

He then got so loud that i demanded his name and a supervisor, he asked me why i needed his name and i told him that was going to report him, he refused to give me his name and refused to transfer me to a Sup and hung up on me. I called back and he picked up the phone well I asked for a Sup again and he hung up on me again by that time i was beyond being upset.

I called back and spk to another rep who was really nice, I apologized because i was yelling and explained the situation, he then transfered me to a sup named Robi who although was very nice didnt see why i was so upset. I asked him to review the tapes if in actuallity the calls were taped and to speak to this man because he was horrible. I am going to send the payment but i want as many people as possible to know about these people.
