In January I mailed my check to Wells Fargo Auto Loan (I have a lean on my car). On January 22 the checked cleared. About January 28 I received a call at work that they never received my check. I got on line that night and printed proof and the next day I faxed proof of it with "loan payment" wrote on the check. A few days later I received another phone call stating it went to my credit card and was given a number to call to have them release it. I spent thirty minutes and finally was able to reach and told her I did not have my account number and gave her my name and told her to release the monies so it could be posted towards my car loan. I assumed it was the end but I was wrong. A few days after that I received another call and told her that I had faxed the proof of payment and called the number that was given to me and told her to release the monies and she told me that could not happen because they only do car loans there. A few days after that I received another phone call and my this time I am furious and gave all this information to someone and I assumed it was over. I told him I have received too many phone calls regarding this and I paid the bill (I used different language) and this was what you call harassment and they had better fix it now. Again, I was under the assumption that it was resolved but again I was wrong.
I received a phone call yesterday that it still had not been resolved and I went through the roof. I informed the young lady I did nothing wrong except pay my bill and since they screwed up they need to fix it now and I am contacting my attorney. If I had the money I would have already done this.
According to there records I have not paid it and this really effects my credit.
One thing I would like to add I didn't add above is that I have received probably 30-50 phone calls from Wells Fargo Auto.
I don't know what step to take next.
I faxed proof and called the number they gave me and it can't seem to get resolved.
I don't believe for one second that I have been targeted out but I do believe that something must be done with them and their lously service.
