On 7-1-05 I had new Toyota break shoes installed on the front wheels of my Corolla. The time to do this work was estimated at 3 hours but when I came back to the shop the work was not done. They were waiting for parts. I told the employee to put the tires back on my car and I would leave. He said I would have to pay even though they did not complete the job.
I waited to get the car finished. There were several mechanics in the shop and only 2 customers. My car was finished eventually but when I drove it, the breaks made a loud squeal.
I took the car back to the shop on 11-11-05 (after driving 11,000 miles) and the repair was to put Wynn's solution to the pads. This stopped the squeal for a short time but then it started again.
I took the car to another shop where they examined the pads and said they were not defective, just noisy.
Today, I went to Brake Masters on Auburn Blvd.in Citrus Heights thinking that the problem was in the Roseville shop and maybe I would get satisfaction if I tried another shop. I had an appt. But was early so left to do an errand.
Upon return I waited in the lobby with another person who was so angry because he had been there for 2 1/2 hours and he was the only one there. I went into the shop after waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes to see if anyone was there. The office man was smoking and said I was late, I explained that I have been waiting in the office and he said I hadn't been there. I left in frustration knowing he would not help me but would only further antagonize me.
