I currently own a Landscaping Business and this year it has been tough financially. Customers do not want to pay on time or not pay at all. So if we don't get paid our bills can't get paid.
We ARE behind on our payments, I am aware of that. I understand that we owe money and we try to make payments on a timely manner.
I understand that customer service is only doing there job by calling our house or our place of business to try to collect what is due.
BUt, just recently they took it to another level.
My mother-In Law called me stating that Ford Motor Credit has been calling her and asking Her why I have not paid my monthly payment recently.
I was furious and embarrased. My mother in law is NOT listed as a contact and is NOT a co-buyer.
I called Ford Motor Credit and the women in the customer service center said that she can call who ever she wants to, to get me to pay my payment.
I have contacted my Lawyer and according to the The Fair Credit Act. What they did was ILLEGAL. We are in the process of filing charges against them.
