MY Husband and I took our toyota to be worked on because it was smoking. Tim said that we needed valve cover gaskets, water pump and shocks. He said that he would charge us $1100.
I gave him $200 in advance. He did the visible work; the water pump and something to my ac which I didn't agree to. I paid him the rest of the money and got a receipt from him.
I brought my husband with me later to pick the car up. He talked junk and at first wouldn't let us have our car. Threaten to shoot us but decided to call some police officer who were his friends.
He bragged about how he's done this before and got away with it. We took our car to Bubba's Used Auto and they said that he never replaced the gaskets.
I wanted to know why my car was smoking. Bubba said that the head on my engine was cracked. We took Tim to court and we didn't have our mechanic with us the first time. Tim had all the people that he does favor for to lie for him in court.
He even went as far to bring the police officer who he was friend with. The judge could tell that he was lying but because Bubba Auto wasn't there to back up what they wrote on paper, I lost the case.
The judge told us to take Tim back to court and bring our mechanic to testify. We took him back to court. My mechanic told the judge that Tim didn't do the work because he didn't remove the cover to the gaskets had gook still on it.
The judge didn't listen to my mechanic because Tim lyed and told the judge that you can get to the gasket from the bottom of the engine. Lier!
I watched him do a co-worker's car who had a camry just like mines when he was supposed to been working on my car.
