I took my car into the WALMART auto center to have my oil changed. I paid for the value package in order to get all of my fluids checked out.
My Transmission fluid was listed as checked on my invoice, but my transmission broke down 4,500 miles later. When the fluid was checked at the shop where the car was towed, it was extremely black and burnt.
I told the mechanic that I had the fluid checked 2 months ago at WALMART, and he said that there wasn't any way that it could have turned that black in only 2 months.
I spoke to several different people in charge, and I faxed the mechanics statements to them. I was then told that since I have driven over their 3,000 mile limit for automotive service warranties, they are not liable for any damage done. They told me they were very sorry.
