I was called repeatedly (4-5 times a day as late as 10 P.M.) because they did not recieve payment. I sent the check. The rep told me I needed to pay with him there and then or he would have the car reposessed THAT NIGHT. He told me I was neglectful and my credit must be horrible. I explained I sent the check, and it obviously was lost.
I paid right there over the phone, with the damn convienience fee and all and told the rep to be sure to note my account that the CHECK SHOULD NOT BE CASHED.
THEY CASHED THE CHECK! Either it was late or they had it all along.By the time I got to the bank to stop payment, it was too late. I live week to week on my pay and I have a family to support. An extra car payment does NOT help feed them.
They are abusive, and rude, and I am willing to join any class action suit that may come about from this emotionally abusive organization.
