Triad Financial Corporation began calling (at least 25 times) before my first payment was even due. I spoke to the representative who said they had not received a payment and wanted to know when it would be going out. I told him it wasn't even due until the 4th of each month (it was about the 23rd of the currentmnth.
They insisted that the payment was past due. I got no reply as to how I could be past due on a brand new car loan that wasn't due for another week or more. To make matters worse, I sent the payment in (a check) and they took 6 days to cash the check. A man called to ask when I was going to mail in the payment and if I would be mailing both of them.
I told I had sent in the payment and they had cashed it. He said he had no record of a payment. I told him I had proof because I had the cancelled check. He asked If I could fax him a copy which I did.
He called the next day and said he did get the fax and wanted to know when I would be sending out the next payment. I thought he was kidding and he said he change the records to show a payment had been made but now I was due for the next payment even though it was still the same month. Since that Time I have been dunned days, nights, week-ends, Sundays, you name it. Yet no payment has been missed or late. All payments sent to this company go to a third party collection source, regardless of the address on their return envelopes.
