Ripoff, theft, fraud, Huntington Beach

I mailed my monthly payment to this company and the check was cashed but not posted to my account. The research department now says that because they can't read the stamped endorsement, that they are not the ones that cashed the check. I find that uunbelieveable because I sent the payment in the envelope they provided to their address. My bank is looking into the matter, but I already know that it was them that cashed my check. I just don't know what I can do about it.
