I traded a vehicle that LBAC held the note.in the state of Missouri you have 30 days to register a new vehicle. Long Beach Acceptance will not release the title to the "old" paid off vehicle until 20 days AFTER receipt of payment of the outstanding balance. I have filed a complaint with the BBB asking LBAC to re-imburse me for any penalties that will be incurred once I am finally able to register my new vehicle.
My advice to anyone who may purchase a new vehicle if the finance company is LBAC - run do not walk out of the dealership you are working with, by the way get your "trade in" back before you leave. Don't let the dealership "put you off".
