Ripoff bad billing practices

We recently had a payment not show up on our loan with ASC even though our bank shows the online payment check was cashed by ASC on 3/10/05. Since 3/10 I have been making phone calls to ASC and my bank trying to prove that ASC has their money. On 3/22 finally someone told from ASC told me all had to do was fax them a copy of the check (front and back) and find out what day it was cashed and they would fix my account. On 3/23 I faxed the info and followed up to make sure they received it. After being transferred 4-5 times I was told that they did receive the fax.

THEN, on 3/25 I tried to follow up again. Their phone lines said they were closed. On 4/1 I called and after being transferred many times I was told that that the payment would not be applied until 4/19 and that I would have to call back on that day and get the late charges removed!!! I just don't get why if they know they have the check and can see that they cashed it why it is going to take 3 weeks to process it to my account and then I have to call back to get the late fees removed.

I hate ASC and can't wait to refinance my house just to get away from them!!!
