Me and my husband fond what we thought was a greaqt deal at Carbanc. We stopped to look at and more than likely buy a car that they had for cash money. Well i feel they are not really there to sell but to draw you to the lot and get you to buy another car. When we asked to look at the car the keys were locked inside of it. This was at 6:40 pm on Sat. Night, we had been there for aproximately an hour looking around before we finally went and found someone to help us.
She at first tried to get us to look at the finance cars. Then when we were adament about this imparticular cash money car and she realized the keys were locked inside she sent a mechanic across the street for a jimmy to unlock it. She took this time to state to us that these cars are not checked out mechanically and cannot be driven before purchase on the street.
The mechanic came back and said the boss told me not tonight its time to lock up! This was at 6:50 P.M. As soon as we left I called informayion and got the number for carbanc, called them and asked for the name and number for a disrtict manager. I then called and was told he was already gone for the day. When I told the lady that answered my problem she then said to hang on and when she came back on said he was gone.
She told me to call back on Monday to speak with him. I of course told her no she can have him call me first thing on Monday. She said no problem and took my information. Well needless to say when we hadnt heard from anyone by Monday afternoon my husband called, and was told he was not in the office so he left a message. We still have not been contacted. If they care that little about thier customer service then the are not the kind of place i want to buy a car from.
Me and My husband have a new car this was for a dear friend who is in a bind, she has 2 little girls and I just cant see putting her and her babies in a car from a place where the people care so little about the customers!
