Hello my name is Sharon Mayfield Graham, I purchase a 2002 Ford Explorer on Nov, 1. I asked if I could test drive it on that day but was told it would not be ready to drive until Monday Nov 5 due to dealer did not have dearler plates availble and it had to be inspected first for my safety and that was the law. Their phone number is 631-650-7590 Owner name Rob. On the night of Nov 5 the car remote key stop working and the door would not open or unlock with remote key you could only open by manuel key. I called the dealership on Nov 6 and he told me to call their mechanic place and ask for James location 29-10 route 112 phone number (631) 873-4246 I ask for James and he said to come in the next day. I dealt with James and his coworker and brother I was told name by Tim. Mr. Tim looked at the car and said that their alarm guy Tom (631) 445-8115 would take care of the problem. They called and so did I he came on Nov 7 and said that they were some wires cut he did not understand why that was but he would try his best to fix it, Mr. Tom fix it that day in the afternoon. On the night of Nov 7 I took the Explorer out when I went to pepboys and it snow the Noreastern storm came in Suffolk LongIsland the lights in car starting blinking and alarm in the car started beeping, the dashboard keep flashing door ajar, water was leaking from top light fixture above roof were sunroof is, the car door would not lock or unlock the left side front passenger window would not go up and down the trunk would not lock at all my 4 year grandaughter back passenger side door came open when I was making a turn. The car would not start. I call dearler they directed me to call their mechanic he was asking if I could get a tow I told he I was not coming out of my pocket to pay for tow so then tim or james told me on the phone they would get me a told it would take about a hour so I ask some one at the endocronolgy clinic and got some help for a boost it would not work so I kept messing with cable and wires and car started up to get to the mechanic shop. James the mechanic put on a new battery cable wire he said, that was the problem. But he was totally WRONG. I also ask for a car fax a copy of the lemon law and a written warranty from dealer, I Have not receive anything yet. I talked to James the mecanic on Nov 8 He said bring the car in on Monday Nov 12 I took sick on that day from the stress so I called and came in on Nov 13 and Mr. James looked at the car and said bring it back the next day but call first at 8;05 am I told Mr. James I needed a loaner car from them because I cannot get around out in longIsland without a car. Mr James told me he had 4 loaner cars and they were all out but one of his customer who own a green truck was coming to pick up his truck and that he was bringing the loaner car back today Nov 14 but he did not come back yet. One of the worker said to wait until I get the loaner car first because it could take more than one day it could take at least 2days or 3 to fix my 2002 ford explorer. My neice who is a customer of yourapprovedauto also her name is Destiney King she brought her car on Oct 26 and her tranmission and battery went it took 3weeks for her to get her car fix they did not reimburse her for gas she had to put in the loaner car and he 2003 saturn transmission still sounds the same. The dealership also promises that if you as a customer refers a customer to yourapprovedauto they will pay a one month payment for you and they would not due that. I also meet another customer name Angela who herself and husband brought a car from yourapprovedauto last year had the same problem with their transmission they had to pay $2,100 for a new transmission. I am disable and receive disability I need help with this problem. I have also called the Attorney Generals office and left message I will keep calling and writing to someone help me. Lemon law lawyer, help me howard, scambook, Attorney General office.
