On 10/13/05 I purchased a vehicle from this company. They say that they do a rigorus inspection on there used vehicles before putting them up for sale. We purchased a 1999 Chevy S-10 supposedly having a 2.2ltr four cylinder 5 speed like my brother wanted. We did not check it out that well but that was our mistake. On the way home it sounded like the window was open and it was all of the way closed. The window seal on the driver side was flapping around and almost coming off. The heater would not work either. The next morning we checked the whole truck over due to the problems that already existed just 30 minutes after the purchase of the truck. Come to find out it did not have a spare tire or a jack or a lug nut wrench. Thank God we did not have a flat on the way home in our newly perchased Used Pickup. Upon opening the hood and to a big surprise the Truck which they said had a 2.2ltr four cylinder did not have even close to that. Under the hood was a 4.3 V-6 VORTEC. So they dont even know what a four cylinder looks like. Even when it says V-6 on the Intake.
We also noticed that it was leaking radiator fluid. Come to find out the water pump is bad and it leaks out as fast as you can put it in. So we drove the truck back to the dealership within 20hrs and wanted it fixed or the contract cancelled. Arguments went from there and they said they were the only ones allowed to cancel a contract and they were not about to do it we bought a lemon. They also dont Start near the blue book value or the NADA value of the used vehicles on there lot they start about 5 to 6 thousand dollars higher maybe even more.
I did not have time to research the pricings on this vehicle and was took full advantage of and purchased a vehicle that was never inspected by anyone there and they said they inspect all of there vehicles. They must have missed that. I will never purchase another used or new vehicle from this place again they dont have professional attitudes or good personal ethics and take advantage of people. So if You buy a used car in New Jersey make sure you have a written contract that you can return the vehicle in a reasonable amount of days and have the choice to cancel the original contract. Cause if You dont You are stuck unless it is in writting from that dealership.
