Don't buy a car from North Shore Buick Pontiac GMC. I purchased a truck from them last year, first they didn't put oil in it and I drove my supposed newly checked over used truck home and had to go right back to the dealership and they figured out after about three hours of looking at the truck that they hadn't put oil in the truck.
Then I drove home again only to hear more weird noises in my supposedly newly inspected truck, so I went back the next day, again after three hours of "looking" at the truck they realized they hadn't put any anti-freeze in the truck. Off I went again only to almost die in a close call car crash, I took the truck back, I'd now had it for three days, they said there was no reason my truck shouldn't have stopped easily. So I decided I better find out what the problem really was and I took the truck to a local service station to find out that my tires were bad and the truck wouldn't even pass inspection without new tires, so I brough the truck back
(I now had it for almost an entire week) and North Shore Buick Pontiac GMC's wonderful service staff said the tires were fine and I only needed one replace but I had to pay for it, I refused and said I would call the better business bureau, so they gave in and said they'd put two new tires on the other two were supposedly fine.
I brought the truck in to get the tires put on (because I had to wait a week and a half for them to order the tires) and they put one tire on and refused to put another on.By this time I had the truck for almost a month and they told me that I had no recourse and they didn't have to fix anything unless I paid the first one hundred dollars of my "warranty" so I decided to purchase the tires they didn't replace myself, only to find out that the tires this dealership told me were two hundred dollar tires were actually only fifty dollar tires and the worst I could put on my truck, I had to put them on because I'm not rich.
I though my problems were over so I preceded to add a nice five hundred dollar stereo system, an alarm, a sliding rear window and a cap onto my truck. No sooner did I spend the money doing this than my truck stopped running. I called this dealership to get service and got nothing but hung up on and put on hold and told they couldn't do anything "EVEN THOUGH MY CAR WAS UNDER THE WARRANTY THIS DEALERSHIP SOLD TO ME" So I decided to take the truck back to my local service station where I found out that because the dealerhsip had put the wrong anti freeze in my truck I had to get that drained and new anti freeze put in and in addition I had to get a complete tune up (the car had about 35k miles on it at the time).
So I got the tune up. I began to get sick of this piece of junk this dealer sold me and desperatly needed a car I could put a baby seat in, so I went to the dealership today and tried to trade in the truck they sold to me last year that they valued at over 12k. They told me my truck with all I put into it and not more than 49K miles on it was worth only 4 Thousand dollars and they wouldn't even try to help me get a car for the baby seat.
MInd you I had taken the truck to a reputable ford dealership and was told the truck was worth well over 9 thousand because of all of the things I added to it as well as the low mileage. So now I not only have a car that is basically a big match box truck but I also have no equity in the truck despite all of my payments being on time and even paying more on my truck. Come to find out they lied to me from the start and sold me a truck for around eleven grand that was at that time only worth about six grand.
They tried to tell me that even though I added multiple expensive things to the truck that it had depreciated over seven thousand dollars in less than a year. This place needs to be shut down, I'm screwed and can't get any help but I warn anyone else who is considering purchaseing a new or used vehicle to stay clear of this dealership.
They are thieves and they seem to enjoy letting you know they ripped you off and you can't do anything about it because the way they "FIX UP" their vehicles makes them run past the 30 days that you have to get a complete refund. Stay clear of this dealership. Oh yeah and the "extended warranty I had to purchase to buy the vehicle in the first place" is worthless but it cost me three grand.
