Is the "Bait and Switch?"

I have been shopping for a new truck for my wife. We decided on a GMC 2008 Crew Cab, Canyon 4 cylinder. I had been in contact via phone and internet with this dealership for the above truck. On December 2nd I received a E-Mail offer from this dealership for a crew cab, five cylinder (the up-grade to a five cylinder was their idea), 3.7 liter engine with automatic transmission. For $20,115.00. Great price! On evening of December 3rd I call the dealership to inform them I would be at their dealership the next day to place a deposit of $1000.00 in cash. On the morning of December 4th I arrived at their dealership. Now is this the "bait and switch"? I was met by someone who had no idea what the initial E-Mail offer was. I provided written information on the vehicle, "stock number" and "VIN number" provide via E-Mail. The vehicle was "pulled" from the line, and it was a 2008 Extended Cab, with a 4 cylinder. My response was this not the vehicle, and asked where is the vehicle offered via E-Mail. They informed me this was the vehicle via "stock number'VIN number". They had incorrectly writtern down the wrong stock/VIN number.

They offered to sell me the vehicle offered via E-Mail for an additional $2,000.00 more, or a 4 cylinder at around $19,850.00."To make thing right" I traveled 70 mile from my home to close this deal and also, informed them initially I would pay "cash" for the vehicle. I did not buy from them and will never buy from Carl Black!
