Wells Fargo Acceptance
Ripoff, unnecessary and relentless harassment

On Novemeber 27, my car payment was due for my 2004 Ford Taurus. I had called Wells Fargo Acceptance (Nov. 29) and explained that I would be late with this month's payment but that I would be paying in the next week and a half. I spoke with a Representative named Vanessa.

After that call, the harassment began. They called me on an average of 3-4 times a day, at work and at home. I, at first, spoke nicely to the reps and stated the same arrangement over and over again that I had made with Vanessa. Mind you, my car payment was due on Nov. 27th and we are talking November 30th and every day afterwards.

Everyday, I felt overwhelmed with their constant questions as to when I would be paying and how i would be paying. I asked one young man to not call me at my job... I am a school teacher and my phone is on my desk in front of the class. He said that he would make a note of that. What happens, they call me over and over again at work and at school. No matter who I spoke with, the harassment continued.

On Saturday, December 4, at 9:14am, Jessica (from Wells Fargo) called me and proceeded to tell me that she was calling for payment on my delinquent account. I started out very nicley telling Jessical that I had spoken with so many people about this account and had made arrangements to pay on December 8. She stated that she had spoken with me last week and had said she would be calling for payment (over the phone) on December 4th. I told her that she was mistaken. She continued on with accusing me of refusing to pay my bill and told me that I was a deadbeat and that was why my payment was behind. She told me that I had better pay this bill or else (she never stated the or else. I told Jessica that she had the worst customer service skills that I had ever witnessed and proceeded by then to tell her what I thought of her. I did call her a few choice names that were definitely appropriate. I then hung the phone up.

I then decided to call a friend to tell her of this situation (3 minutes later) and Jessica was still on my phone. She said, "Ms. Green, I am not going anywhere and you'd better pay this bill immediately." By now, I am so mad, I am ready to drive to Pennsylvannia and hunt down Jessica and whip her behind. There was no need for this kind of disrespect for being less than a week late on a bill.

I hate Wells Fargo and wish that I could give back the car. This was my first time being late with my car payment and Wells Fargo knew this. I mailed in their payment and still received a call from WF Saturday (12/11) night after their office was closed. I could not believe that they called me and their office wasn't even open. I will now have WF blocked from my phone at home and at work.

This has been the worst experience of my life. The smart mouth reps from WF have made me aware of just how desparate people can be when they take a job with a company that disrespects its clients who keep them in business. The job of customer service used to be looked on as respectful but now, the kids that call and answer those Customer service calls have no training and don't realize the harm that they do on a daily basis.

I never want to hear the words Wells Fargo again in life. I recorded every time that they called and intend to file complaints and anything else that I can. It should not be legal to have people call you and harass you needlessly. I've had it with Wells fargo. I'd really like to see them run out of business. Unfortunately, they're too big for that but anything that I can do to bring them down will be done. Thank you.
