1999 Dodge Dakota developed transmission problems such as slipping and erratic shifting. Took vehicle to Mr. Transmission. They test drove and said it needed a complete rebuild. I was quoted a price of $1,693.38. After the repair was made we took the truck back on two different occasion for the same problems. Both times MR. Transmission stated that it was okay.
The truck soon became unable to drive. Took the truck to a trusted repair shop. They showed me where faulty repair parts were used to complete the repair. Took the parts to Mr. Transmission to see if they would be willing to compensate any of the second repair. The manager stated that those parts could have come from anywhere. After $1400.00 being spent on the second repair I have not had a problem. I have spoke with other local residents and they have not had good things to say about this orginzation.
