Two friends, my fiance, and myself, went to IHOP in Cleveland, TN about 1130 or so Saturday January 5th. We had spent all day moving 2 houses into one and we were all tired and hungry. We chose IHOP because they were open. (Should have went to Waffle House). They were not busy at all. We got seated, our waitress took 20 minutes to get our drink orders, another 10 to get our drinks to us. Our food arrived about 30 minutes later and our waitress never came back to refill. I had to ask another server to get us refills. My friend ordered endless pancakes. His first order came with his food and at some point once we were finished eating the waitress came by and he placed another order of pancakes. 30 minutes later, they were still sitting under the heat lamps on the window to the kitchen. I had to get the Manager to get us our check so we could leave. The bill was 62 dollars. I do not know the managers name, only that he was a big heavy set guy. I complained to him about the poor service and long wait when they werent busy and about our waitress not taking care of our table when there was noone else for her to take care of. All he said was, "Well was the food good." I said "Yes, food quality was great. The service sucked." He then said, "Well, that'll be 62 dollars." He gave some lame mumbled apology. This is the second time, with two different servers, and two different times of day we have had horrible service. This time it cost me 62 dollars. I will not spend another dime in this IHOP. The manager did NOTHING to make it right.
