Bad Dining Experience - Internatioal House of Pancakes

Over the years my wife have eaten at IHOP numerous times and always enjoyed the experience. We moved to this community which is near the IHOP on I-35 in Hickory Creek, Tx 6 mos. Ago and have been eating there often. This evening, 3-7,
we went to Chili's and the line was out the door.instead of waiting we went to IHOP. They were not very busy. Only 7 occupied tables in the main dining room and a small group in private dining room. We were seated and turned our order at 7:30P.M. Our food finely came at 8:05P.M. We had no silverware, after waiting a considerable time I got up and went and got our silverware. When my wife opened her wrapped silverware it was so dirty it even soiled napkin. It took 10 minutes are more to get a replacement. I had to get up and go to anther waitress to get catchup for my french fries. My bacon-n-beef cheeseburger, which I thought would have bacon on it, did not have any. My wife's potato soup was cold. Our waitress never came back around. When the waitress brought our ticket we complained to her and she sent the manager to our table, who took care of the ticket. I appreciate her taking care of our ticket but this was a bad dining experience. It is no wonder Chili's was over crowded and had along line waiting and IHOP hardly any costumers. The next time we will wait in Chili's line.
