Every month we mail off our house payment and our second mortgage the same day together. Our house payment arrives and gets posted usually within 5 to 7 days.
Now our payment to Ocwen usually gets posted 12 to 14 days after it is mailed and it always seems to be 1 to 2 days after the grace period. Now when we took out a second on our home it was thru another company. Then the note changed hands 3 times till it ended up with Ocwen Federal.
We NEVER had problems until Ocwen Federal took our loan. Now to clear it up for them we did not come to you for the loan you took the loan over from someone else.
They (ocwen) say it is not their fault the mail runs late but it only runs late to them. Send it pay by phone for only $10 or western union for $11.95. Why? Just pick up the mail and post it on time. And there is no way to get out of paying their late fees in fear of forclosure on your home.
Well mail it off earlier. We get paid two times a month and do not mail a payment to anyone unless the funds are sitting in the bank to cover them. What is a person to do? The only other option is the automatic draft.
But sense we get paid every other week (which for you Ocwen pretty much works out to 2 times a month) that could be even more fees if the pay period does not fall before the due date. No grace period with ACH. Can I bill the U. S mail for getting the mail to Ocwen late every month? NO! Some how I believe it is not their fault.
