Ocwen Federal holds the mortage to my two houses. I recieve at least two phone calls from them per day. They keep insisting that I am 18 months behind on my mortgage. I have copies of every check I ever sent them, and bank statements showing that Ocwen Federal has cashed them.
I had to hire an attorney to try and get them off my back. They kept on saying I was late, and they were going to forclose on my properties. Well, I told them to go ahead and do what they had to do, I was in the right, I had EVERY reciept, check stubb, etc. Sense the first day I sent them a payment.
Well, they have not forclosed, because they can't. I eventually got the houses refinanced through GA Home Mortage Co. But, Ocwen did get me for $8,000.00 in late fees after I closed. My lawyer said there was nothing he could do, I just got took.
What I really should do, is drive down to Ocwen Federal, in Florida, and go have a little "sit down" with the president of the company.
But I have a family to think about. So if you are reading this, trust me, it is not adviseable to let Ocwen Federal hold the mortgage to your home. And if anyone would like to see my reciepts, I would be happy to show you, just send me your email or home address.
I am really outraged that companies can get away with stuff like this.
