In today's mail, I got an offer for a pre-approved credit card from First National Bank of Marin. However, I didn't know who the card was with at first, as the application did not state this anywhere. It gave the website where I could have my card approved right away.
When I typed it, my search engine said there was no site. Ok, first clue. I called the 800 number on the application, and that was where I found out the name of the bank. So I went back online, typed in the bank and lo and behold, I found this site. OMG, I am so glad that I read all of these complaints about the bank and its fraudulent charges.
I was considering sending in my preapproved application, even though the apr was quite high. Getting ready to go on a vacation and thought, "ok, this might work out." NOT. Anyway, I guess this isn't really a complaint, so to speak, but a major thank you to all those that posted their problems with First National Bank of Marin!
