I just wanted to let everybody know that BOFA is way outta line in it's fee practices. I have an ATM debit-credit card deal that i use frequently and when i go over what i have in my account i am automatically charged a fee for every purchase. This occurs regardless of the fact that even if you check your balance on line and it says you have money in there - you can't rely on that. As i have stated above, in a two month period of time, i was charged over 480.00 in insufficient funds fees and i did not write one check. The way i believe it should work is that, if your outta money, then the card should not work, period. But that's not what BOFA does. And just so you know, BOFA charges you a 1.50 if you check you account balance and have no money in there. Good way to keep you in the negative.
A group needs to form to analyize what the legality of BOFA's fee practices are. I can tell you this, if this kinda thing is happening on a wide spread basis, I definately think we have a class action brewing here. BOFA fees are beyond excessive and they can't be allowed to charge what they do.
IF anybody knows where i can find more reports about BOFA please let me know. I am trying to compile as much information as i can.
