Called me and threatened me with federal imprisonment. If loan? Of 1295.00 was not paid 1/21

Supposedly I had got a payday loan of $300.00. When I can not remember. They had my girlfriend's name as a co signer. I never do that. I only use her/their name as references. The way they wanted to be paid was by Wal mart Gift cards. To me that is a scam. You can not trace the gift card once cashed. Also they refused to send confirmation of "debt" paid in full.
