Closed master card acct in May with a full payoff, and enclosed the cut up card in envelope with a check for the balance. I did not receive a bill for 5 months. They called the last of Oct and asked me to pay them $118. I told them that i had closed the acct. They said that they were charging a life insurance premium to it. They also said they would not stop the charges. I had a friend at the credit union call them explaining that i had paid them off and closed the acct. They still refused to cancel the charges of $118.
