4th, contact your local office of the U.S. Secret Service. They don't just protect the President. They handel counterfeiting and many other money related crimes, to include credit card fraud.
These solicitations and funds went back and forth over state lines so we have federal violations. BUT WE ALL HAVE TO DO THIS.
One or two complaints about a $37.00 scam will not get any action. Postal, to date, has nearly 30 complaints, but that's still under $1,200. Not the crime of the century. Enough complaints and they will take action. We may never get our money back, but we can cause these folks some heartburn.
