The law office of Brett Margolin promised me the world of hope and help with getting a loan modification. I had paid them $3,600 in 4 installments of $900.00 to make it easier on me. 5 months went by and I get a forclosure letter, I sent the foreclosure letter over to them for reveiw. They said for an additional $200 they would draft a letter to the response to stop the proceedings of the foreclosure. They kept calling for the payment which I mailed some how never got there. They said they could take a credit card for a payment. So not wanting this go to furhter I paid via CC which unannounced to me was a $7 dollar charge. It took 2 weeks after my payment to get this letter which I had to sign and send out on my for more money because it had to go certified mail. Yet another $21.00 to send out 3 letters. I got so disquisted I called my mortgage company to only to find out that the letter wasn't even drafted or written by a lawyer from that office. They are running such a scam on the unkowning and the helpless that they are making money hand over fist with their rates. I would not call on them for help. Major Rip off artists.
