I made my payments on time every month and i proved it to them and they had to remove the late fees. Then i went into the hospital and i called and them and they said they would put my account on hold they did not they charged me instead $175 in $25.00 late fees and over the limite fees. Then i called them and they agreed if i made a $40 payment over the phone they would remove them, they lied about that, when i made the $40 payment to them over the phone t hen i made the $100 payment they requested i make, i called them back as soon as it cleared then i requested the $175 in $25.00 fees be removed they got a supervisior on there which said i had always been late on my account and i had not, i had actually been on time and i proved it to them by sending them my bank statments i faxed them copies showing it cleared my bank to them on time actually early yet they held onto my payments making them late so that they could then charged me late fees and over the limit fees, i havent used my card for purchases in nearly 4 months now, and yet its $175 owing on a $300 limit, they are trying to tell me now that if i where to pay them another $160 they would remove one of the late fees but not all of them, the late fees are becuase of their fault as they lied, if they had removed the fees they promised to remove after the last 2 payments then it woulid not be over the limit or late right now, but they wont do it, so i jsut cancelled my card with them this is totally unbelievable how they treat their customes DO NOT EVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY HOLD ONTO YOUR PAYMENTS JUST TO MAKE THEM LATE EVEN THEIR LAST REP I TALKED TO A FEW MONTHS AGO WHEN HE SAID HE WOUDLI REMOVE THEM HE EVEN TOLD ME HIMSELF THATS WHAT THEY DO, AND HE APOLOGIZED FOR IT, BUT HE SAID THEY WHERE TRAINED TO DO THAT AND IF THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINED THEY WHERE TRAINED NOT TO MAKE WAVES BUT TO GO AHEAD AND GIVE THE FEES BACK TO THE CUSTOMER, NOW THIS TIME THEY WONT DO IT, EVEN AFTER MY ACCOUNT WAS NOTED THAT THEY WOULD REFUND THE FEES, INSTEAD THE SUPERVISIOR SAID I HAVE BEEN LATE EVERY MONTH SINCE OPENED MY ACCOUNT 8 MONTHS AGO AND I HAVENT, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ON TIME, AND I PROVED IT TO THEM EVERY MONTH BUT THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME LOOK BAD, THEY SAID I SENT THEM BANK STATMENTS WHICH I DID TO PROVE IT THEY WOULID REFUND THE FEES ON THE MONTHS IN THE BEGINNING OF MY ACCOUNT WHEN IT SHOWED LATE, SO I DID AND THEY REFUNDED THEM, BUT NOW THEY HAVE DONE IT AGAIN AND HE WONT REMOVE THEM EVEN THOUGH HE KNOWS THEY ARE THEIR FAULT NOT MINE. They just keep thinking i am going to pay all these late fees when my account wasnt late. THATS FRAUD I THOUGHT.
So i cancelled my card and i plan to post this all over the internet too how they treated me. Never never never use this bank ever. Be warned.
They hold payments just to make them late. So they can charge $25.00 late fees then they run up enough late fees that month so they can then charge over the limit fees then they charge $12.00 a month just to have the card with them thats ridiculous, then they charged me $6.90 finance charge for not even using the card for any purchases at all. As i said i havent even purchased anything on my card in nearly 5 months now, and i have only had this card for 8 months. Its still a pretty new account and yet this bank has done everything in their power to try and put my acount in a bad light with them i am fed up with this. I always paid on time and yet they made them look late every time and when they refunded the late fees after i proved the payments wherent they did note the account that i have proved they wherent late which still made me look bad. I want this bank permanently closed they are committing fraud on customers.
