On Tuesday April 21 I pulled my credit report from Equifax and found that LVNV Funding has not only duplicated their reporting of a charged off account but now have triple reported this account. LVNV sent me a dunning letter in Dec 08 under their other known name Capital Management. I responded to the letter with a Validation of Debt letter (no response).interesting was the dunning letter wanted to "settle" the debt for less than $500.00, but the triple reporting list the debt now as over $10k.
I am currently disputing this triplicate reporting with Equifax via their website. I may have to gentle remind them that reporting inaccurate information is in violation of FTC.
