LVNV Funding - Sherman Acquisitions - Wolpoff and Abramson
LVNV Funding ripoff reporting on my credit by no contact with them

Is LVNV a legitimate collection agency. They have been reporting on my credit report since 5 although I have not gotten anything in writing from them. They were also reporting that they were actively collecting on this debt while other collection agencies were reporting the same debt (see thread here http://usacomplaints.com/reports/ripoff153174.htm). I don't mind paying my debt but refuse to go through another scam. It is ridiculous. They claim that everything is correct as reported (I disputed through CreditTrax) last month. What next steps should I take, and does anyone else have the same experience?
