Hello everyone, i wrote back in April about nationstar mortgage. Well i have finished the addition and refied with nationstar. I got off the 8.6% arm and onto a 7.1% fixed. I was told three different payments: 1) 987 and change 2) 1,032 and change 3) 1,088 and change. Then when I got the first payment coupon it said 1,160.43. At closing that is what the papers said also 1160.43.
So i called the mortgage rep. And he assured me that it was a mistake and sign the papers and he would take care of it. So like an fool i did. My payment is suppose to be 1,088.18 not 1,160.43. So i have emailed nationstar and have it in writing that my mortgage payment is going to be 1,088.18. It gets better!!!
I got a 7% reduction on your unpaid mortgage balance letter. Well they shorted me 2,410.34. Also on my first mortgage with nationstar they charged me 0.5000% loan discount which equaled 665.00 and on my new mortgage they charged me 5.557% loan discount which equaled 7,779.80. Is there a limit they can charge loan discount points? So not only did nationstar not honor 7% reduction they also got me on the loan discount and my monthly was wrong 3 times. Do i have any legal issues here? Thanks
