I was contacted by Nationstar Mortgage with with an offer of mortgage re-financing and debt-consolidation loan. I was sent an official loan documents and was told the only out-of-pocket expense that I had to pay was the home appraisal.
Well, appraisal was done then I was told that they cannot do the loan because my property was undervalued according to appraisal report. The loan officer was fully aware of my property value is not worth the loan amount prior to processing the loan because I told him BEFORE he got the paperwork going. He said it would not be a problem.
To say the least, I am out $375 for the appraisal and for what??? NOTHING! I found out that Nationstar Mortgage has 90 complaints on the BBB records in State of Texas and were unsatisfactory.
AVOID Nationstar Mortgage at all costs.
