I tried to get my PMI off my mortgage in june they sent me the info I needed to get this done as I was at scheduled to be less than 80% LTV in july so around august or sept. 2008 I get what they ask for a Brokers price Opinion by a licensed real estate broker
I send in all the info they ask for in Oct. 1 2008 and wait
No answer by late oct so I call " customer service " (if you can call them that) (someone in a third world country who just keeps saying sorry Mr John)
They tell me that my request was denied because they have a new policy that sayes that I need to get a certified APPRAISER from their company in order to terminate my PMI
So they change policy as I am in the process of getting this done the way they originally told me to
And Now I am out $100 and still have to pay PMI
And "customer service " will do nothing to remedy the situation I guess they should be called the " NON customer service dept "
GMAC could care less about you the customer just continue to screw us over and we have to take it as we talk to their 3rd world customer service
