This company had been contacting me for over a five or six month period in 08 about an old credit card account that had been off since the beginning od 2006 and said that there was a balance still due. First off to start the account was not assigned to them for collection. I paid the account off through a totally different company and had the paper work to prove that it was paid off. Because I had recently moved I could not find it right off and went ahead and made a payment to Resurgent capital and had an agreement that when I found the paperwork and sent it in to them I would have the money that I paid to them refunded and here it is 4 months later and everythime I call they say that it has been sent in the mail. I have not received anything in the mail and the account is still being reported on my credit.
