Does anybody out there know how many companiesLVNV funding has it's fingers in? I got a letter from them saying that ownership of an old account has now been transferred to them for collections. They gave a site for Resurgent Capital so I could view account. It showed an entirely different card account. I tried to call the previous creditor and resurgent came on the line. Itried telling both parties that that card was paid off in 2008. I even called the original card co. They said my last payment was in 12/06 and sold to arrow financial in8/07. Had numerous communications with them in2008 and account was paid but never written off. I've moved several times since 2008 and paperwork is lost. Who knew I'd have to keep it for a lifetime just in case they sold it again? At any rate now I don't know what to do. Does anyone know when the SOL would start on an account like this? Or is this co. Even licensed to operate in Florida?
