There are other banks out there to suit your needs.
Some important points in my experience without scanning all the documents of proof:
1. Employee (manager) in which opened my account stated that she would waive Debit card order fee as a courtesy. It was not and no employee would take care of it.
2. Purchased a large cashiers check from them in which cashier miscounted and swore that I did not give enough after I had counted the stack three times before arriving and at the counter. She pocketed it.
3. Mysterious charges consistently putting my account into the negative in which no one employee could ever intelligently explain to me how it got that way.
4. Upon my attempting to close my account so as to not incur any more charges, they would not and continued to charge 3.00 a day for 28 days until sending a charge off amount of -311.71 to the credit bureau.
5. The bank would not allow me to cash a personal check from a local that was written to me for work done. He stated that it had to be deposited as checks are not worth the paper they are written on anymore.
From the day that I opened my account I felt as if I were under a microscope and felt ashamed for asking to be a part of their greatness. I attempted to obtain employment with them to experiment with their procedures and these people will refuse you employment with them based on your credit history!!!
Yes, my credit is terrible and live paycheck to paycheck but I have never experienced anything of this nature with any bank and feel that they deliberately prey on low income individuals counting on them to go into overdraft so that they can dig you a little further in.
