I sent my rent check weeks ago-landlord got it (half was torn off and missing!) told account now immediately - and asked for it to be cancelled and resent. They keep giving me stupid responses like "we've never heard of a check being ripped"— never resent payment - but I am out $800!! PLUS late fees... Whateve
