Hi everyone,
I just received this GREAT letter stating I had been PRE-APPROVED for a $5000 credit limit with Consumer First Platinum Credit Card Company. Said it wasn't a "maybe", I had been guaranteed to receive this card for a "one-time" processing fee of $45.00 ($49.00 for rush delivery).
I almost fell for it. But, as a rule, I always check out companies on the web if I'm investing any dollar amount. I found it strange that I couldn't find anything on them and they had no listing in 411. Then I stumbled on to this website with all this information about the same company (slightly different name)... I am disapointed such scams take place and am thankful that websites such as this one are created... To warn consumers of these types of scams.
I sincerely hope this company is shutdown and some serious fraud charges are brought against them.
