I was contacted by this company akas Mr. Robert Stevens (in writing) stating that I was eligible for a 5000.00 Platinum Card
0% APR 1st 12 Months. On the letter was a Platinum Card verification number. 7294628-AS.
Immediately my instinct told me that this was a fraud or scame to get my 45.00 Standard Processing And Delivery Fee.
Or if I was really desperate 49.00 RUSH Processing And Delivery. I am a seasoned credit card consumer.
I became skeptical when I saw no 1800 number to call to find out more about this credit card.
Also there was no Membership Packet explaining my rights and responsibilities a card holder.
Or no information stating Consumer First's Responsibilities as well. I really became skeptical and decided to look this Credit Card Company up on the internet when the letter said in small letters
"Your request cannot be processed without your fee. Make funds payable to Consumer First.
I had never heard of that before. Most credit cards will give you the option of paying your one-time membership with your
Statement if necessary. And no application or credit check is necessary when Cardholder signs this acceptance certificate
