I'm not sure this made it into the reports, I can't find it, anyway, I fell for it, but an hour later I called back to cancel and was told I had to wait until today (10/22/02).
I did so and was told by Dekesha and Terry (supposedly a supervisor) that nothing could be done until October 30. I contacted my bank and put a stop on anything coming from this company either from Florida or California (I found two addresses for them).
Then I contacted the Texas State Attorney General and was told that if my bank had this information a call is not necessary on October 30.
I then wrote a letter to the ACS address with copies to a US Senator, a US Judge, a US Congressman, the AG's of Florida and California, the US Attorney in Florida, the FCC the FBI, and the US Postal Service (mail fraud division).
Hopefully, this will keep these jackals at bay because it is too much trouble to deal with me and all these other government people too. I haven't lost any $ yet and with luck, they won't get any.
