On October 17 our business was granted a small claims court judgment against a deadbeat customer who had made up his mind NOT to pay his bill!
On July 25 we found out that this customer was banking at the Bank of America in Jonesboro, AR and sent a Writ of Garnishment against the judgment debtor's account. Much to our surprise we received a notarized statement saying that "they had no such account on record" when we knew for a fact that our deadbeat was carrying a credit/debit card from that very bank! (We had even sent the account number with the writ, for Pete's sake!)
Long story short, Bank of America manipulated a legal matter in favor of their account holder because they felt they could. We didn't bank with them and meant nothing to them, I guess, and were just little guys from Podunk, AR. What could we do to the big powerful Bank of America?!!!

Send a formal WRITTEN complaint with any supporting documentation to that address. I have done so already. If this bank wants to do business in this country, it has to learn to go by the law of the land and the more formal complaints tendered, the more likely it is that this institution will either shape up or SHIP OUT! I am eagerly awaiting a response to our own complaint and hope that you will post a followup on your matter. Good luck to you, sir!
