I received an email alert from Bank of America for irregular debit card activity. After looking at my account online I saw an unauthorized charge of $4.97 from BRATTCOMPANY.com CRESTVIEW FL. I called the Bank of America fraud number (877-833-5617) and they cancelled my card and are sending me a new one. I never use my debit card especially now that Bank of America charges $5 for debit use, and my card has been with me at all times. I think it is strange that this not only seems to be happening to Bank of America customers, but that Bank of America knew it happened and notified me immediately. Since I do not ever use my card I get the feeling that there was a security breach on Bank of America's end that they are quietly trying to clean up.
