For the last Two months my account has ended up in the negative due to Bank of America in Copperas Cove's "dirty accounting" practices. I try to keep my bills in line. My wife and I have 5 children all under the age of 10 and I am in the military. So regardless of life's situations we are on a fixed budget.in October our bills came and I looked at the account and the fact that our deposit was pending and it was the first (and the military gets paid on the 1st and 15th) we paid our bills by our check card.
Well of course, as usual, the bills went through but before the deposit. It was less than a surprise when I went to the gas station and tried to get this new $3.00/gal gas and found out that my card was declined (I graduated high school and have a couple of years of college under my belt so I can add a little...) So I go to the bank and of course my account is $63 in the negative. That made me mad. The next pay period after adjusting for the previous mistake my account ends up $93 in the negative.
So after over adjusting on dec. 1st my account ended up -$173. Then I'm told that if I don't pay off this account they will take it out of any account with Bank of America with my name attached to it. Then the week before Christmas our joint account is debited the -$173 and of course Christmas is well... Less than nice. Of course, now I am less than happy.
