I have been a Bank of America customer for 19 years. The longer I am a customer, the more ruthless they become.
I check my bank account at least 2 (two) times a day online. On 10/15 I checked my account in the morning as I always do I was expecting a direct deposit transaction to cover a check. As usual i checked my account before bed on Wednesday at 11:59 pm. My check has not gone through nor was my direct deposit.
Well of course, I checked my account on 10/16 and low and behold - suddenly there is a check that cleared on 10/15 (yes, of course the one that had no actually posted on 10/15- that one) and my direct deposit was 'pending' on 10/16. This happens way too often with Bank of America.
These short of things were happening before with Bank of America, so I stopped my direct deposit and just used the account to cash my checks. However, when I was cashing my checks only on my account and paying my bills and such with cash or money order, Bank of America did not want to cash my checks because of 'low account usage'. Well, I started using my account again and yes, I am being ripped off once again.
